BIGGER as Expected!

In this mornings's September 5th (UC)LA Times Sports Page, there was a BIGGER front page picture of UCLA's Josh Rosen than of USC's Head Coach Steve Sarkesian.

On page D7, there was a BIGGER picture of UCLA's Paul Perkins than of USC's two tiny pictures of Cody Kessler and JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Also on page D7, there was a BIGGER article for UCLA than for USC.

When will the (UC)LA Times BIGGER BIAS for UCLA over USC ever end?

Pictures Are Indeed Worth a Thousand Words!

College football season is almost here.

The (UC)LA Times has been writing articles about the USC and UCLA practices. Somewhat fairly, the articles take turns being on the front page.

Then, unfairly, UCLA football pictures are ALWAYS larger than USC football pictures!

Are They Really Just Ignorant?

In this morning's (UC)LA Times "ETC" section, there was a paragraph about "Former UCLA gymnast Simone Biles, the reigning world champion, successfully defended her all-around title in the Secret U.S. Classic at Hoffman Estates, Ill."

In the same "ETC." section, there was a paragraph about "Haley Anderson of the U.S. defended her title in the five-kilometer open water race to claim the first medal of the FINA world swimming championships at Kazan, Russia."

Haley Anderson is the first American woman to win multiple open water gold medals at the FINA World Championships. She won the Silver Medal in the 2012 Olympics. More importantly, Haley was an All-American at USC!

Why did the (UC)LA Times mention that Simone Biles was a Bruin and not mention that Haley Anderson was a Trojan?

Is the (UC)LA Times really just ignorant, or are they just BIASED for UCLA over USC?

Just Because the Trojans beat the Bruins...

There was no article or even mention in the (UC)LA Times "Day in sports" article today that the USC Women of Troy beat the Bruins 4-3 in tennis yesterday.

The Bruins went ahead 3-1 and needed only one more "Singles" win to claim the victory and a share of the Pac-12 Women's Tennis Title.

The last three Women of Troy fought for every point and came back to win all three singles.

On Court 4 Freshman Madison Westby, after spraining her ankle and almost forfeiting, clinched the match and the Pac-12 Title for USC with her upset victory!

Where was an article? Where was a picture? Where was another article about the USC Men's Team defeating the UCLA Men 4-2 in Westwood?

The (UC)LA Times only writes articles about Bruin Victories, not Trojan Victories!

When will the (UC)LA Times BIAS for UCLA over USC ever end?

Where Were You, Shotgun Spratling?

This morning's (UC)LA Times proudly published a COLOR picture, the headline, "Bruins beat Trojans for series win" and an article by Shotgun Spratling that detailed UCLA's Baseball Team victory on Sunday, April 12, 2015. Their second victory over USC gave the Bruin's a 2-1 series win for this past weekend.

Where Were You, Shotgun Spratling, last year when the Trojans SWEPT the Bruins in Westwood in the 3-day series of 4/24/14-4/26/14: 10-0, 3-2, and 7-4? Where was a comparable article and COLOR picture for USC's series sweep?

Then, Where Were You, Shotgun Spratling, this year in the Dodger Stadium College Baseball Classis when USC beat three TOP TEN Baseball Teams in a 3-day weekend? On the weekend of 3/6/15-3/8/15, the Trojans beat TCU, Vanderbilt and UCLA! The Bruins lost to TCU, Vanderbilt and USC! Where was a comparable article and COLOR picture for USC's outstanding victories?

There were no articles about the four USC victories over UCLA! No USC COLOR pictures! Just a mere mention of the scores in "THE DAY IN SPORTS!

When will the BIAS for UCLA over USC ever end in the (UC)LA Times?

As Expected!

The USC Baseball Team beat the UCLA Baseball Team 8-4 in the third game of the Dodger Stadium College Baseball Classic on Sunday, 8/8/2015. As Expected....the (UC)LA Times, in its Monday, 8/9/15 sports page, did not write any article about USC's magnificent three victories over three ranked teams: TCU, Vanderbilt and UCLA in ONE weekend. There was a mere mention of the Trojan's winning score in their "Day In Sports." If the Bruins had accomplished this fantastic feat, the (UC)LA Times would have written an article each day.

Because We're Not UCLA!

The USC Baseball team beat #4 TCU in the 12th inning 7-6 on Friday, 3/6/15. Then, on Saturday, USC beat #1 Vanderbilt 6-5 with a walk-off 9th inning home run by Trojan freshman, pinch hitter Adalberto Carrillo.

Did the (UC)LA Times write any article about either amazing victory?

NO! USC merely got the two scores reported in the "Day in Sports".

Why Not?

Because, the Trojans are not UCLA Bruins!

The Pictures Tell It All!

According to, Scout and Prepstar, USC recruited the #1 football class yesterday.

How does the (UC)LA Times report this accomplishment?

They give UCLA a half page article on D4 with two pictures!

What about #1 USC?

The Trojans get a one-third page article on D5 with one smaller picture!

What is wrong with this picture?

The usual (UC)LA Times BIAS for ucla over USC!

When will the BIAS ever end?
